Political activist Irshad Manji caused waves with her
first book, The Trouble with Islam Today.
Her new book, Allah, Liberty and Love, strives to reconcile the loving message of Islam with the
repression carried out in her name. Manji is a professor at New York University,
a columnist for The Globe and Mail and the founder of the diversity-promoting
Moral Courage Project.
Ms. Manji comes to Edmonton for an evening of frank discussion and open dialogue with the audience, hosted by the Edmonton Journal's Sheila Pratt.
LitFest is pleased to partner with the Gateway in presenting Ms. Manji. Join us for an inspiring evening.
