LitFest 2009 – October 21-25

LitFest will once again fill downtown Edmonton with the buzz of conversation about real stories – about issues that we face every day. Watch this space for details.

Note that if you are an author of non fiction work, and would like to participate in our 2009 festival, check out our submissions guidelines.

Thank you!

More than 1,500 literary fans met over four days to celebrate the power of the written word. From intimate readings at the Artery and Citadel Theatre, sparkling panels at Enterprise Square, to discussions with junior high school students in their classrooms, non-fiction authors and their work took centre stage throughout downtown Edmonton.

Thank you to our many volunteers and sponsors. Special thanks to our programming partners Metro Cinema, University of Alberta Book Stores, Audrey’s Books and the Edmonton Public Library.

Watch this space for announcements about the upcoming festival!

Cheers!

David
